6. It’s funny, I was born on may 14, 1970. My mom was there and she was a teenager, I grew up with no father and she never told me why, but a couple years ago before she passed away she told me in bed that she was in Woodstock and don’t remember much of anything that happened during those two days, she told me she met a musician but can’t remember much of anything, 9 months later I was born. I’m probably a bastard of one of these guys playing there 😂😂😂

    I am 26 yrs old and currently watching this documentary. Suddenly, I was interested with woodstock 69, after a came across with a facebook article which talks about how 400k people gathered in a one venue to celebrate art, music and peace. I believe in my generation, this moment is unique and cannot be replicated. It is a luxury that we will not be able to experience in our time. There can only be one woodstock 69. No cellphones or internet only the people around you, the nature and music. Thank you for preserving this moment in history.

20. Celebrated my 18th birthday at Woodstock..met some Hog Farm folks who taught me how to camp in the woods. When most of the crowd left after Saturday night's performances ended into the wee hours, my gf and her brother and myself moved all the way up closer to the stage. At around 630AM, Sha Na Na did their shtick followed by Hendrix..FINALLY what we were waiting for! What we witnessed during Hendrix' set was unforgettable; and many that had left before Sha Na Na tried to race back to watch Hendrix; so we saw all these people in the distance just stop walking and turned around to watch Hendrix. We walked 4 miles back to my rusted '65 Dodge Dart; and drove back to Long Island, stopping several times along the way to sleep because we were so exhausted..we didn't want to leave. Oh man, I was so depressed acclimating back to society that I could barely focus on my freshman year of college. Miss those days 😪

21. Could someone please explain to me, what was this Festival about? I mean, I've heard of the "Peace, Love, Rock'n'roll" motto, but, like, was there a war going on? And if so, what war, exactly?
    I'm sorry, I'm not American, so I'm bad at American history, but i got very curious…
